About Us

Pardis, the heart of Anahita’s vision, the ultimate paradise. Anahita of Pardis seeks to create a superior world, speaking solely through the language of art. Inspiring all to seek moral excellence, lighting the path for those in darkness. The Simurgh of Pardis, a mythological creature of ancient Persia. Our simurgh symbolises wisdom, self-reflection and the desire for the soul’s journey to the divine.

The tale of the Simurgh

In the poem ‘The conference of the Birds’, all birds gathered together in search of their true king. The hoopoe told of the wisest bird, 1,700 years old, known as the Simurgh. A large and ancient bird that serves as the only messenger between the heavens and earth. With his years of experience and gathered wisdom, surely he will be the finest king. Thousands of birds set on the journey to find the Simurgh beyond the mountains. To reach their destination, they must travel through seven valleys of quest; love, understanding, detachment, unity, astonishment, deprivation and finally death. One by one they abandoned the journey, distracted by worldly temptation and desires. At last, only 30 birds reached beyond the mountain to find only a river. Each bird looked into the river and after seeing a reflection of themselves, realized they had become the Simurgh.

This story is a reflection of life's treacherous journey. The simurgh serves as a reminder that we are what we seek and only by accepting the challenges of life do we become wiser. The simurgh is an idea, a dream and only those who are clear in their desires will realize their dreams. Anahita is one with the Simurgh, the Simurgh is one with Anahita and both are but a legend. The pair exist outside of time and space, acting as the invisible mediator between the heavens and earth.

Through her pursuit of the Simurgh, Anahita emanates the beauty of paradise. The feelings of peace, happiness and harmony. All elements of our vision become entwined to create the feeling of Pardis. Neither time nor age can erase the impact of our eternal influence through art. As we recognise that art is the most powerful force in the world, we seek to inspire change and unite humanity. We wish to encourage all to take the journey towards self-reflection, self-improvement and moral excellence.
